What the “Report something inappropriate” button is for
What is the “Report something inappropriate” button for?
The “Report something inappropriate” button is for something in your book that looks inappropriate, offensive or upsetting. It sits in the bottom right-hand corner of your book page, with a small flag ⚐ in front of the words.
Sending a report pauses printing of your whole book until a person on our team has checked it. You can still look through your book and fix pages in the meantime.
It is not the button for ordinary mistakes. If a face does not look right, someone has the wrong age or a word is wrong, use “Edit this page!” on that page instead. For a bigger problem that page fixes cannot solve, such as a wrong answer in the form that shaped whole pages, use the link at the top of your book page, under the title: “Something seriously wrong that page fixes can't solve?”
Steps
- Note the page number of the picture that worries you. On a computer or tablet the book shows two pages side by side, so check whether it is the left or the right page. For a cover, note whether it is the front or the back.
- Find the small button “Report something inappropriate” in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, with a small flag ⚐ in front of the words. Tap or click it.
- A window opens. In the box, write the page number and, in your own words, what worries you. If you change your mind, tap or click ✕ to close the window without sending anything.
- Tap or click “Send report”. When “Thank you. We've paused printing on this book and our team will review it.” appears, your report has arrived. The window then closes by itself.
If you sent a report by mistake, or it still does not go through after you reload the page, write to us at hello@memolio.io and tell us which page it is about. If you have already ordered your printed book, please write to us as well.
