When you pay
When do I pay for the book?
Starting your book is free and needs no payment details. You answer a few questions and add a photo, and we paint a first portrait. For How We Met, we paint the two of you. Only after that do you come to the order step. There you pay once for the whole book, delivery included. Nothing is charged before you press the order button and pay on the secure payment page.
After paying, you carry straight on with the story questions. You can stop at any time and come back with the link we email you. When you send your answers, we make your book in 30 minutes to 2 hours and email you a link to check every page. Nothing prints until you approve it, and ordering the printed book needs no second payment.
Steps
- Start your book for free. No payment details are needed.
- Answer the first few questions and add a recent photo. For How We Met, add one of each of you.
- Look at the first painted portrait.
- On the order step, check that the price is for the country your book goes to. Then tap or click the order button with the price on it and pay on the secure payment page.
- Carry straight on with the story questions. When your book is ready, check every page: nothing prints until you approve it.
Just paid, but the page still shows the order button? Wait a moment, because the page moves on by itself, and please do not pay a second time. If you closed the page after paying, open the link in the email we sent you, and look in your spam folder too.
