AI writes the story, AI paints the watercolour illustrations from real photos, and nothing prints until the customer approves every page. If your audience cares about family stories, grandparents, or gifts that take some thought, the affiliate programme gives them €5 off and pays you 20% of the net order value. No exclusivity, no minimums, paid monthly.

How It Works

1. Apply below

   The form takes about two minutes. Tell us who you are and where your audience lives — a blog, a newsletter, Instagram, a podcast. We review every application by hand and reply within a few days.

2. Get your personal code

   You receive a code in your name, like LISA-5. Anyone who enters it at checkout gets €5 off their order.

3. Share it and earn

   Every order placed with your code earns you 20% of the net order value. On a €45 book that is €8 per order. We tally conversions monthly and pay out by SEPA transfer or PayPal.

Programme Details

• 20% commission on the net order value — the book price after the €5 discount, before shipping and tax.
• €5 off for your audience, applied when they enter your code at checkout (£5 in the UK and $5 in the US once orders open there — same code).
• Paid monthly at the start of the following month, by SEPA transfer or PayPal — your choice.
• No exclusivity and no minimums. Promote Memolio alongside anything else, as often or as rarely as fits your content.
• One code per order. Codes don't combine with other discounts; the code your reader enters is the one that counts.
• Commission on completed orders. Orders that are refunded don't count toward payout.

A Note on Disclosure

Affiliate recommendations must be clearly marked as such — "affiliate link", "Werbung", or whatever your platform's convention is. It protects your audience's trust and it's the law in most of Europe and the US. We only work with creators who disclose.

What is Memolio, in one paragraph?

A customer answers a questionnaire about a grandparent (or a couple, or a new baby) and uploads photos. AI writes the story and paints every page in watercolour, using the real faces. The customer reviews every page online, fixes anything that's off, and approves. Then a 24-page hardcover on archival paper ships to their door. See how it works.

How is my commission tracked?

Through your code. When a customer enters it at checkout, the order is tied to you in our system. There are no cookies or tracking links to break — if the code was used, you earn.

When and how do I get paid?

Monthly, at the start of the following month, by SEPA transfer or PayPal. You'll get a short statement listing your conversions and the commission total.

Do I have to send you an invoice?

No — that's what the self-billing tick is for. We issue you a numbered credit note (a Gutschrift) for each payout instead, made out from the billing details you gave us. You keep it for your own records. If you're a small-business creator with no VAT number, the credit note simply shows no VAT; if you have a VAT number we apply whichever treatment is correct for your country.

I don't have a VAT number. Is that a problem?

Not at all — most creators we work with don't. It only changes the wording on your credit note. If you're outside Austria and have no VAT number, we may need to check your specific case with our accountant before the first payout, so that one can take a little longer.

Can I see my stats?

For now we send stats with your monthly statement, and you can email us for a snapshot any time. A self-serve dashboard is on the roadmap.

Does my audience need a special link?

No. The code works on its own — in an Instagram bio, a podcast read, a newsletter footer, anywhere. They enter it at checkout on memolio.io.
